1) ACCEPT DEATH
In as much as you love your loved ones; accept death is part of earthly life. Love people enough to let them go when their time on earth ends, love them enough when they are still alive. Live life knowing that one day you too will die

2) ACCEPT REJECTION
Realize that not everyone will accept you, like you or love you; perhaps because you are in different seasons, they have formed an opinion of you, they have their own fears and bias; and it is OK. Don’t lose sleep because of it. Billions of people will not all love you at the same time and the same way

3) ACCEPT YOUR WEAKNESSES
Come to terms that you have limitations and areas to grow. Stop showing yourself to be perfect or always strong. You have flaws

4) ACCEPT CORRECTION
Allow yourself to be called out when you are wrong, it is in your best interest. Don’t fight rebuke, embrace it

5) ACCEPT BEING DISAPPOINTED
Be aware that we live in a world of human beings who are not perfect. You will be offended from time to time including by people you love, people who genuinely love you and even people you help. Don’t take things personally, we are all growing

6) ACCEPT YOUR MISTAKES
Because you are human, you will fall here and there, you have the capacity to disappoint yourself or others; and when you do – forgive yourself, apologize and rise again

7) ACCEPT YOU DON’T HAVE A MONOPOLY OF WISDOM
Fact is, you don’t know everything and even what you do know, another person can improve it. Be open to learning. Don’t be rigid or full of pride. Be teachable

8) ACCEPT CLOSED DOORS
Accept that not every time you apply for something, you request for something, you pursue something; you will get it. No, you will face setbacks and dead ends; perhaps because you are not ready, it is not your door to open or it is simply not the right time. But don’t stop dreaming and pushing

9) ACCEPT YOUR NEGATIVE EMOTIONS
Feel your negative emotions, don’t ignore or suppress them. Crying, pain, sadness; all these are part of being human. Be real about how you are feeling, find out why you feel that way and address issues. Far too many people are a ticking time bomb faking happiness because they are not honest about how they feel

10) ACCEPT HELP
Accept your lack and your need for others; that you can get tired, you can lose your way. You were not created to live in isolation. Learn to ask for help, to allow people to be there for you, to be loved. Allow others to be love to you, as much as you are love to them
