1) God knows your future and His will for you. So He gives you a partner who will perfectly feature in your future and not ruin His will for your life. So learn to wait and depend on the All knowing God when choosing a life partner. Pray and let Him direct you.
2) You don’t need a life partner until you’ve gotten a life. What gives you a life is Purpose (your reason for living). So don’t start praying for a helper when you don’t even know the work you are to do (Just like you don’t need a business partner if you don’t have any business). First pray and trust God to reveal to you your purpose. Simply put, Purpose before proposal.
3) Never despise the days of little beginning of your partner. He or she is a work in progress. Don’t judge him or her by his or her present status. His or her latter will surely be greater than the past and the present. All you need to check is his or her Purpose and vision for life and his or her passion and drive to fulfilling the vision.
4) Relationship is meant to help you get better in life. If you are not getting better in your walk with God and your personal life, something may be wrong. Check it and fix it. It can also be an indication that you are in a wrong relationship.
5) Be what you want in a partner. If you want a God fearing partner, be God fearing too. If you want a neat, patient, humble and caring partner, ensure you are neat, patient, humble and a caring person too. You attract who you are.
