The bible says “Whoever finds a wife finds what is good, and receives favor from the LORD.” Proverb 18:22.
What every man is looking for is a wife and wives are made right from their parents’ house not in a man’s house. It is not the wedding ring that makes you a wife.
One of my female subscribers said this to me last year, “I don’t want stress and am too lazy to work. I just pray that God will give me a husband that will be willing to help me in the kitchen and also employ a housemaid”.
I just smiled and let her know the truth about marriage and what is expected of a wife in a home. No man wants a lazy wife. Even if God answer your prayer, your idleness and laziness will chase him away.
Dear single ladies, please know that you need to learn and equip yourself to become a wife. You were born a girl; you need to grow to become a woman, then a wife and a mother. It takes more than beauty, pedicure, manicure, stiletto figure eight and cat walking to be a wife; these can only make you a lady, but to be a wife, you must go beyond that.
You must learn the act of managing the home, thoughtfulness, you must be kitchen compliance, you must know how to turn cooking ingredient to a solid meal, and you must grow to know how to handle a man and little children.
You must be versatile and be able to do several things at the same time. Don’t be lazy. You must be productive, trustworthy and generous, you must be an early riser and you must learn to do your husband good all the days of your life.
