The system of this world is designed and built intentionally to frustrate life out of people, which is why we have a lot of frustration and depression cases here and there. The rise in food prices and the rise in energy prices is making people sink into depression.
Those who put their hope on the government to bail them out have also been disappointed and frustrated. As a matter of fact, some governments in the world even need to bail out
You see, all these happenings are happening because the Bible says Satan is the God of this world. (2Cor. 4: 4). Because we are in the end times, there is tribulation and chaos virtually everywhere. Nations are rising up against nations; Ukraine and Russia are still at loggerhead. And now, Israel and Hamas are showing muscle with all the world powers trying to cash in.
Now, the financial systems of the world are crumbling with a high rate of inflation and a high cost of energy in almost many parts of the world, amongst other tribulations. I want you to know that all of these things happening are part of the events of the end times purposely orchestrated by the devil to frustrate and sniff out faith out of people.
A lot of believers, because of all these tribulations happening, are gradually doubting the reality of God. People hearts are failing because of the fear of the unknown. And it’s not surprising because Jesus himself said, “….nevertheless when the Son of man comes will he still find faith on earth?” (Luk.8: 18).
Meaning in these times and age, the number one target of the enemy is our faith. Once your faith fails, things will fail. So your job description in this time and age is to make sure your faith didn’t have faith. Switch off the depressing and negative news flying all over the media and get the word of God into you. Instead of meditating on negative news, start meditating on God’s word. It is our bail out stategy.
Jesus said in this world there would be tribulations, but we should be of good cheer he has overcome the world. (John 16: 33). So we are to ride on the victory that Jesus gave us to ride against the tides of depression and frustrations waging war against our existence.
Refuse to succumb to fear and depression. The Bible says, 1 John 5:4, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
Let your anchor be on Jesus and his promises if you don’t want to fail. “Be very sure your anchor 🔱 holds and grips the solid Rock”.
To live above the tides, live by faith in God’s word and not what the situation and happenstances say.
