The manifestation of your every decision starts with the removal of the “Someday”…. is either do it or don’t.
That’s why you need self-discipline – which is the ability to do what you should do when you should do it, whether you feel like or not.
This sacrifice of self-control reckons you to keep doing those today (short terms) that will make up for the long-term goals you want.
Never forget that “Those heights won and kept by great men were not achieved by sudden flight. But they were toiling upward in the night while their companions slept”
The slept here isn’t staying woke but rather being productive by waving off everything that might sway your daily achievable goals.
Not to say tomorrow again when you can today, Then start now to:
- decide exactly what is it you want in life
- determine the price you are going to pay to get the things you want
- resolve to pay the price
Wait, does your “someday” reflect taking those courses, learning a new skill, reading that book, or attending a seminar – Just start doing it today.
Let your daily profession end with “I can do it now” and speak it so loudly that you can’t hear any other objection.
Remember the process of learning values or building character to start doing the “someday” Today/Now is not void of taking instruction, study, and practice.
Thus, the bedrock in taking absolute responsibility for what occurs in your life would be established over time with the doings today…
