I visited a doctor and while with him a topic on husband and wife came up. He said women are great people and any man who wants to live long should live happily with his wife. Though they don’t own life but they can decide when and how to end a man’s life. I asked, doctor why do you say this? He said, in his over 30 years as a medical practitioner he Learnt that, men who take their wives for granted suffer a great deal and get frustrated at the time they needed them most especially health wise.
When you treat a woman right, you get it back double, most women give back more than they get, when a woman love a man, she does so without holding back anything, no reservation, that is not to say there are no ungrateful and evil women but Madam, it is a known fact that wives determine the happiness of a man and so men should work towards that.
I laughed and told him, but majority of men see women as devils and just been treated as necessary evil. He asked, what do a man who made his home hell for a woman expect, nothing but a devil. God created hell and made the Devil the Commander and so is expected of any home where either the man or the woman made Hell, the devil must exist.
After all every department in an organisation is headed by a Professional though in Nigeria Zoologist can be a Health Minister and madam that is exactly what happens in some marriages today. A good woman marrying the worst man vice versa. He said, as a Consultant who has his primary assignments in one of the biggest hospitals, he consults for many other hospitals both private and government own.
It got to a time when he had little or no time for himself not to talk of his family. The wife complained so much that he sees her as just been unnecessarily jealous. At a point after returning home from his primary assignment his phones get missing and only get to him when there was call from his main office. It was getting him upset that he instructed his wife to keep away from his phone, that for the fact he allow her assess to his phone should not be a yardstick for her to control whom he talk or associate with.
He told her, his going in and out was for the family’s comfort and see no reason why the woman should be so queer to do what she is doing but was surprised at her response. She told him, good and clapped her hands, You’re going in and out is for our comfort but you forgot to evaluate what the going in and out is taking rather than giving, if you don’t know Mr. Doctor, let me put it to your brain that you need to be alive for us to enjoy that comfort you are working to achieve, but at the rate you are going I think we might get the comfort but with you in the grave.
I don’t want to be widowed because my husband want to please me, have a rest not just for our sake but for your health, you are giving more than you are taking and she handed over his phones to him and walked away. He said, on my way to the office, her words echoes continuously and he thought to himself, so this woman he called a mere jealous woman was actually fighting to give him comfort and save his life.
And right from that moment he trimmed down his daily activities and he is now really enjoying his body. No man should underestimate the power of a woman, she might act rudely sometimes but she is doing so because the man refuse to listen to her body language and when she talks she is seen as domineering.
They see more than the men most times but the men proudly claim the Head and refused to listen or reason with her just like the case of Nigeria Mr. President, his wife sees what he refused or could not see but people see her as been against her husband. No she wants him to achieve and his being adamant makes her go all out to talk to the world.
He concluded, madam I have no reason why I should impress you as a woman but if the truth must be told, whether men like it or not women play the major roles in home building, their roles are uniquely designed by God, women are stabilizers.
