Many at times people who are desperately looking for marriage do not care if the person they want to get married to loves them as much as they do or feel about them. You hear some say, “my love is enough for the two of us. It doesn’t matter if you don’t love me now, love grows.”

You both need to have a heart that forgives and keeps no record of wrong doing so when a spouse wrongs the other, it becomes easy to forgive. You both need to be truthful so you can learn to trust each other, be open and transparent. You both need to be committed to the relationship and have faith in each other. It is hard for such couples to give up on each other.

Look for someone who has love, for no one can give what they don’t have. Be with someone who loves you as much as you love them.
If you love them so much but he or she doesn’t love you, such a person is not the right candidate for your marital journey. If the person loves you so much but you don’t love such a person, please let them be. Don’t lead them on.
Matters of the heart is a matter of life and death. The heart holds life, pumps blood and nutrients to the rest of the body, when you break it or hurt it, you are playing with your life. You are putting your life at risk. There are lots of people whose lives have not been the same again after a bad heart break. Some quit living. Some live with the pain and the memories. Some become heartless. The heart is not an object or organ to play with.

When you love someone, you don’t see their weakness, you don’t listen to negative news about them. And when you love someone who does not love you, whilst you are blind to their shortfalls, they focus their magnifying glass on your weakness. They are your worst critics, not criticizing constructively. When you are deaf to rumors about them, they open their ears to negative news about you. You just can’t please them or be enough for them.
