But Herodias, in collaboration with the man she was cheating with, still killed the man who spoke for her husband and against her and her adulterous man, that is, John the Baptist.
Infidelity is terrible, and that’s why even the Bible gives the option of divorce when a partner cheats. The truth is that if they can cheat on you, they can kill you.
If they have the audacity, temerity, or effrontery to cheat, the seed of murder is in them already.
When lies can no longer cover their mess, thoughts of murder set in.
If their conscience cannot restrain them from cheating, their conscience won’t stop them from killing when their can of worms is about to be made open; when the cat is about to be let out of the bag.
