I have heard men citing the reason why they stop their women from accessing their phones is to prevent them from getting hurt. Which suggests they are doing something that has the power to hurt her. But when he is questioned, he denies doing anything wrong. It is obvious many men don’t know the kind of information which are likely to hurt her.

- One of the very things that will hurt that much is to find out her man has another woman besides her, which she does not know of. Whether he is just a boyfriend or husband, it will still hurt her that much. She is not hurt when she knew about the person before going into the relationship.
- Another thing that will hurt her that much is to find out you are telling another woman all the very things you said to her which made her fall in love with you. She is hurt to find out her man is promising another woman what he promised her. If she is not married to you, but you promised to marry her, she is hurt to find out you are promising to marry another woman. She feels taken for granted or taken for a fool.
- She is hurt to find out that all the special things you did for her; you are doing the same with another woman. If cooking for her is special, she is hurt to find out, you have been cooking for another woman on her blindside. She is hurt to find out that all the special moments you shared with her, you are sharing same with another woman.
- Another thing that hurts her so much is to find out you brought over another woman to your house and not just that, but she also laid on the bed or stayed in the room she stays in or used what she uses. If she is not married to you, she will find it difficult to visit you after she finds out. And if she is married to you, she finds it difficult to stay in that room or lie on the same bed you brought someone to sleep on.
- She is also hurt to find out you called another woman the same way you call her. Be it a pet name or a special name you had given her. She is hurt because it feels she is not as special to you as you want to portray to her or make her feel. She feels lied to, played on.
