Our mind is big and bountiful, there are many things, thoughts and actions competing for expression daily as we go about life. In others words there are many things presenting themselves as viable alternatives against that which we believe.
Marriage as beautiful as it is is not exempted from this mighty wave of many alternatives.
We live in a society where there are so many alternatives to your wife or husband. People who are battle ready to enjoy what you are enjoying. They covet and even want to eat of the glory they see but don’t care to think about the price you pay to get the results they so much desire.
Have seen beautiful marriages hit the rock because either of the two surrendered to the power of many alternatives. See, just because you are married doesn’t mean you are exempted. Ring this days is just a mere jewelry, gone are those days when people fear that tiny metal be it gold or silver in your fingers. In fact it would even spur them to chase you all around. It is becoming extremely difficult to “drink from the same pot” these days.
Have seen good cum godly relationships, potential kingdom marriages crumbled because of this.
There is no better time we need to be loaded with the fear of God, grace, self control, discernment and passion than this age and time.
Singles, I pray God help you look beyond judgement of the eye to know His will and probe beyond the natural. May you not mortgage your destiny.
Married, I pray God grant you wisdom and capacity to know when to flee. And fight for your marriage to maintain its sustainability.
