Someone used this picture to paint the life of the person who indulges in sexual affairs outside marriage. Horrible right? Yes, but it’s really worse than this in the spirit realm. Those images inside this person looked scourged or burnt, right? Hellishly dangerous right? Yes! Are you there? May be you had seen this picture before, and you couldn’t look at it for long; and you quickly scrolled it off to view something else. But you don’t mind watching those horror films you’ve always loved to enjoy.
Then how come when your pastor or that man of God preaches against fornication and adultery, you either allow the message to pass through your ears, and you block off your heart and pretend you are a very good saint; or conclude ‘everybody is doing it’, and waiting for preaching to be over so you could have your freedom. Many who practice these sins would certainly detest this picture, but really don’t know that they carry this as a default inside them.
The bible says these are those who are lovers of their own selves, unholy, without natural affection, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, trucebreakers; the bible further explained that they have “a form of godliness, (very religious) but deny the power. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 3:2-7). These are those who are dead while they live in pleasure-1 Timothy 5:6.
Child of God! Know that every first time sex introduces that person into the covenant of marriage that binds two souls together. It is a blood covenant that comprises the joining of two different lives into one-Gen. 2:4. Multiple sex therefore exposes such persons to unimaginable complexities. Too many persons who engage in sexual immorality before and after marriage, get to reap the harvest sooner or later in the form of numerous crises that are calculated by Satan to tear their marriage apart. It doesnt take numerous sex to derail one’s marriage. That sexual covenant with that person who is not your legally married spouse must be broken first of all because it’s a spiritual marriage.
“Can a man take fire in his bosom and his clothes not be burned? 28 Can one go upon hot coals and his feet not be burned? 29 So he who cohabits with his neighbors wife [will be tortured with evil consequences and just retribution]; he who touches her shall not be innocent or go unpunished. 30 Men do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is hungry; 31 But if he is found out, he must restore seven times [what he stole]; he must give the whole substance of his house [if necessary–to meet his fine]. 32 But whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks heart and understanding (moral principle and prudence); he who does it is destroying his own life. 33 Wounds and disgrace will he get, and his reproach will not be wiped away”. This is not in any way to condemn those who happen to find themselves in sexual entanglements, but to teach people how to win over immorality, and more importantly learn how to yield their bodies to serving God better.
