A successful marriage depends on your choice of partner. The choice of whom you marry is more crucial than everything else combined that you would ever do to make your marriage succeed. Failures in marriages stem from incompatibility and are as a result of wrong choices based on wrong decisions made for frivolous reasons. 1) AN EMOTIONAL PREDATOR: A predator is someone who has the ability and skills to do what you want in order to prey on your emotion or finances. He/she is characterised by:

▪️Ability and skills to come on fast and strong to sweep you off-feet. He wants things fast, to move in together or get married quickly.
▪️Disposition to injure or exploit for one’s own gain.
2) CLOSET DWELLER: This is someone with a hidden life, a secret lover who operates secretly and is a pathological hider. He/she is characterised by:
▪️Lifestyle of secrecy and lies; engaged in secretive behaviours.
▪️Strange ability to prevaricate and hide certain behaviours
▪️Disposition of engaging in multiple relationships, yet unknown.
3) PARENTAL SEEKER: This is someone who looks for a partner that will be a suitable replacement for their parents. This pathological ‘man-child’ or ‘woman-child’ is characterised by:
▪️Strong craving for constant reassurance, motivation, instructions and direction
▪️Low functional ability and need to be assisted in every area
▪️Special Treatment
▪️Chronic underachievement
4) PERMANENT CLINGER: This is someone who excessively demands your time and attention in a relationship. A clinger has an extreme need for attachment to you. He/she has the following characteristics:
▪️Constant need of your time and attention
▪️Constant monitoring due to jealousy and suspicion
▪️Critical dependency and social phobia
5) THE EMOTIONALLY UNAVAILABLE:This is someone who is so emotionally attached to their career, job, hubbies, etc., and does not have time or emotional energy for you. This highly dangerous person has the following characteristics:
▪️Constant preoccupation with his/her interests, career or friends to the extent that relationship is not an option
▪️Great superficiality in the relationship
▪️Critical lack of excitement and interest in you
NOTE:Sometimes, it takes just a short conversation with a man or a lady in order to identify him/her as dangerous. Hence, it is wisdom to be sensitive, observant and inquisitive.
