Greed, poverty and ignorance has made many people prefer quantity over quality. We are also aware of how some buildings could not stand the test of time due to the low quality of materials used.
The truth is, there is beauty and class in quality, nothing can be compared to quality. Quality lasts and it stands the test of time. It is the standard for measuring things; it has the degree of excellence.
Most of us who grew up in the village were made to know quantity is the way to go. Even when it comes to food, one could give out his or her small piece of fish for a bowl of rice. When our parent bought clothes for us, they made sure, it was over-sized so it can last for years. Obviously those clothes didn’t look good on us.
In the olden days, our grandfathers measured their quality of life by the number of wives they had, yet there was always trouble in their homes due to rivalry.
Some people think making lots of friends is what makes their lives quality. Well, I was told the Crab lost its head due to that. And before I forget, Jesus Christ had only Twelve selected disciples and yet was betrayed.
Your friends should motivate and inspire you. Your circle should be well rounded and supportive. Keep it tight. Always choose Quality over Quantity.
A Quality life doesn’t mean having wealth, intelligence or power. It’s a matter of how much kindness and love you give and the joy you get out of it.
The quality of your life depends on how you LOVE the things you do, how you do the things you LOVE and how you LOVE the one who LOVE you.
If you are a family man, bear in mind your success is measured by what your wife and children say about you and not your money or accomplishments; for they mean nothing if you fail at home.
For those who are sad, depressed, etc. The quantity of your happiness will always depend upon the quality of your thoughts.
For churches and pastors, your success will be measured by the number of souls you raise for God and not the number of people who come to your church or the size of your church.
Make it a goal to edit your life frequently, aim at achieving quality in every area of your life. It’s your masterpiece after all.
In conclusion “There is going to come a time of testing at Christ’s Judgment Day to see what kind of material each builder has used. Everyone’s work will be put through the fire so that all can see whether or not it keeps its value, and what was really accomplished” – 1 Corinthians 3:13 (TLB)….
