‘You don’t grow into a woman. Age doesn’t make anyone a woman. Being a woman is a ‘becoming’ thing’.
When my daughter was turning 18, it dawn on me that she was about to have more freedom than she had and one of the essence of the freedom was to prove to the world around her that she didn’t accidentally become an adult but she became intentionally.
Being a woman is a process thing. It’s not about growth. A lot of grown ups are still kids with their old age gaps. We all are aware of the fact that beauty is not what everyone is out looking for in every woman.
One day after returning from the market, I headed to the kitchen to cook and the thought came to me that my daughter would soon be seen as a woman. I called her in and began to direct her to do the things I should have done. She made the soup and stew that day. I saw her smile and realized that she has long waited to become that kitchen commander. That was how she took over the kitchen. Each time we talk, I always bring her attention to the fact that she should be more focused on what she is becoming. The accidental personality is a destructive one.
Being a woman is a development goal. You are not a woman because you are born a woman. A woman is a make up of attributes. If anyone lack those attributes., she is just a living being outside being a woman.

‘A woman has values’.
People should see a woman and see things not easy for everyone else to accomplish. Her success should give others success drives.
‘A woman has purpose’.
I once asked someone, ‘what do you do when you wake up?’. She missed the point. She thought of it on house chores. What is your daily goals?. What do you chase after on everyday basis?’. What do you think your life was built for?”. A lot of woman idle about looking for men who would pay their bills. Bills don’t end. So, how long would people pay your bills without giving up on doing that for you?. A purpose driven woman generate her resources to pay her bills.
‘A woman has visions’.
When you meet a true woman, she always have something in pursuit of. She doesn’t say, ‘We can see any time you want’. A visionary woman is time full. Every minute of the day has something she needs it for. She has something ahead she is always in chase for. She sees and follows.
‘A woman has dignity’.
Why do we often see some set of women in every weddings and birthdays?’. When you don’t have dignity, you are always everywhere. You are always available to be used. You are always with every Tom and Dick. When you don’t have dignity, you can’t define your boundaries.
‘A woman has honour’.
You don’t chase for respect. Respect is a reward of what others have been convinced of you. Honour comes from having the right mindset and attitude to yourself and others. You don’t buy it with appearance. You can be called the most beautiful woman and still at the same time be acknowledged as the most useless of all women. Jesus at a point told a story where He classified five virgins as ‘five foolish virgins’.
‘A woman has skills’.
A true woman has multiple abilities she has developed our herself. When you think you know her for this, she is leading ahead of others in another beautiful field of life. She is never handicapped. She is never helpless. She finds big opportunities and prepare to take them.
‘A woman has authority’.
You don’t toy a true woman around. She is a voice. When she speaks, men listen. When she speaks, there is wisdom in her words. She doesn’t shout to have attention. She has results to be given attention for. She wins and it gives her a place others can’t easily have.
‘A woman has a future’.
A true woman doesn’t existence. She lives. She impacts. She influences. In her old age, the new generation always acknowledge that one like her made the way for them. There are things people look around and see her prints on them. The future itself respects her.
‘A woman has enviable characters’.
A true woman is never a foolish woman. She doesn’t give up her values for anything she wants. She is hard to be indicted. She is always a moral ground. She inspires others to follow the right path.
‘A woman has the ability to response to changes’.
A true woman doesn’t say ‘I don’t know what else to do’. When the move stops, she becomes the next movement. When everyone has come to believe that the king would not be approached., Esther said, ‘I am going to the king, if I perish, I perish. Go and fast with me’. The true woman always come up with the way it should be. She controls the frequency. She knows how to tune in when there is a break in transmission.
‘A woman is full of faith’.
A true woman is never afraid of what is yet to happen. She knows her God and trusts Him absolutely. She speaks and acts faith. She doesn’t have fear of anything. She doesn’t speak discouragement.
‘A woman is an environment of grace’.
When you sit around a true woman, it drops your pains and burdens. She is a spiritual environment. Her presence influences both spiritual and emotional changes.
