We live in times when the word ‘trust ‘ is diluted with a little disbelief and doubt .You say that, you trust in God but you do not believe that the right woman \man will come from the Lord .You believe that God is the provider but you still have a shadow of doubt that God will provide you with the right life partner.
Can trust and doubt be put in the same room and not cause chaos?
Now you have to understand this , and understand it really well (…he who doubts is like a wave of sea, blown and tossed by the wind .That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord ,he is a double minded man ,unstable in all he does, James 1:6-7) . Stop doubting that God can give you the right partner, start believing that he will meet you at your point of need. Say goodbye to doubt and welcome TRUST in your life.
You see, when God declares anything, no one can go against it and conquer. It does not matter how long it takes to receive that one woman \man you have been waiting for. Abraham waited for 100years for the birth of his son Isaac, It does not matter how long you have been single, it not about time, its about knowing that God will deliver. Jesus arrived when Lazarus was dead yet he could have made it in time but he proved that he can do anything.
Mary and Martha were disappointed but Jesus raised him from the dead. That one woman/man you are yearning for will come into your life, in God’s perfect time, right when you think he is late, he comes and gives life to a dead, hopeless, love life. “…….Did l not tell you that when you believe, you will see the glory of God?’ (John 11:40).
Do not forget that those who trust in the Lord will not be put to shame, people may take you for a fool but stand firm for what you believe, and there is no need to rush or to put things into your own hands. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight ‘‘, (Proverbs 3:5).
It is clear that you do not need to acknowledge God in ‘some ‘ of your ways but in ALL YOUR WAYS.
The question now is, are you acknowledging him in your love life?
Do not give up on God, even though you seem to be the only one who is single among your group of friends. Hold on to him with faith and hope.
“For I know the plans I have for you ‘, declares the Lord, ‘ plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future ‘. (Jeremiah 29:11).
“I lift up my eyes to the hills -where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth’ (Psalm 121:1-2).
