A man went to a witch doctor and requested to know how bright his destiny will be. The witch doctor drew a circle with a white chalk and another circle with a black chalk. He placed a dead worm on the floor and asked the guy to watch carefully.
He told him “I will make some incantations to make the dead worm start crawling but, when you see the worm crawling into the white circle, it means your destiny will be bright, but if it crawls into the black circle, it means your destiny will be dark. He began making the incantations and the dead worm started crawling but behold, when it got in between the two circles, it turned and started crawling towards the black circle!.
The guy watched as it was wondering between the circles and when it was about to crawl into the black circle, he gently picked it with his hands and dropped it on the white circle! The witch doctor got furious and asked, “Why did you do that? The guy replied” i won’t fold my arms and watch my destiny crawl into darkness because “MY DESTINY LIES IN MY HANDS”
Saint of God, Your destiny lies in your hands! God told the children of Israel “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses.
Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live! [Deuteronomy 30:19] As we run the year, just know that no witch will help you define your destiny. No parent, no government can make a choice for you! God’s eternal life through his son Jesus is waiting for you, but it’s your choosing that matters.
Living a pure life as a Godly man\woman is a matter of your choosing Saying No to clubbing, beer parties and living an illicit lifestyle is a matter of your choice Saying no TO SEX before marriage is a choice you have to make Serving God in ministry and with utmost devotion is a matter of choice living in the fear of God and in harmony with other believers is a choice you have to make choosing a carrier to pa-sue is not your parents work but a matter of your choice.
Deciding who to marry is a matter of choice knowing when you want to get married is a matter of choice the grace of God has appeared to all of us that brings salvation to people. It educates us so that we can live sensible, ethical, and godly lives right now by rejecting ungodly lives and the desires of this world. At the same time we wait for the blessed hope and the glorious appearance of our great God and savior Jesus Christ.
He gave himself for us in order to rescue us from every kind of lawless behavior, and cleanse a special people for himself who are eager to do good actions. [Titus 2:11-14] I urge you in Jesus name to act today, act now, act fast! Is a matter of your choosing. God is waiting for you to make a decision on where you want to go in life.
Choose life and you, and your children will live, but don’t fold your arms to see your destiny crawl into darkness. Pick and place it in God’s hands. God is waiting, Jesus is calling you. Make a wise choice because YOUR DESTINY LIES IN YOUR HANDS. God is waiting. Written by Danjuma Iliya
