I used to hear this: how is it that men who want to date you come begging for your heart as if it is the only breath that keeps them alive, yet once they succeed, you are nothing to them, you have to chase them to stick to their promised of loving you.
Well, I always say such men never loved you in the first place, they were in for sex and one thing you should know is your naked body should only belong to those who fall in love with your naked soul.
A man that truly loves a woman is more concerned about spending time than spending money. He is her leader, not dictator. Does not cheat because he knows he’d be cheating himself.
He gives her freedom, not confinement. He encourages her dreams while chasing his. Shows her off to the world because her light in his life is so bright he can’t hide it. When I fell in love with my wife, I didn’t just stay with her by default as if there’s no one else available to me.
I stayed with her because I chose to. Every day that I wake up, every day that we fight, lie or disappoint each other, I choose her over and over again, and she chooses me. There is nothing worse than being stuck to a relationship knowing it will destroy you one day.
Sometimes love is so unfair! The more you sacrifice the more you get hurt! And when you have given your best to someone you love, it seems not enough! Sometimes, you have to accept the truth and stop wasting time on someone who only loves you with words, but fails to show you through actions!
My Advice to you is to remain SINGLE until you know it’s REAL. No chasing! It’s called patience, for MARRIAGE is not a 100 metres race.
